Born on August 25, 1975 in Omaha, NE, Jeremy Horn is a mixed martial arts fighter with an amazing number of nearly eighty victories to his credit. He boasts an impressive pro record of 77 wins with 14 losses and 5 draws. In an evolving sport, such as Mixed MArtial Arts, that is an incredible amount of experience. Horn has handed defeats to Ultimate Fighter TV show winner Forrest Griffin, koing the youngster in 3:30. He's also defeated the likes of Vernon White, Gilbert Yvel, and Chuck Liddell. Jeremy Horn trains with his team, Elite Performance, in Utah. The future is uncertain for Horn, as he appears to be separating from the most recognized MMA organization in America; the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The "Iceman" Chuck Liddell avenged his loss to Horn and defended the UFC light heavyweight crown in the process at UFC 54 Boiling Point at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The decision was devastating and convincing, and soon thereafter Jeremy Horn was competing in the middleweight division where he took on a man he'd defeated twice before, Chael Sonnen. The match took place at UFC 60 and the result was the same. Monte Cox, Horn's manager, commented on the decision to part with the Ultimate Fighting Championship: "It only makes sense. As long as Jeremy stays at middleweight and Rich [Franklin] holds the title, there’s really not much of a future for him in the UFC.
